The one who looks after
The love of home
It's the mother fixing the veil for the third time, the father pretending he isn't crying. It doesn't ask to be seen: it has always been there, like the kitchen light.
It is what happened while nobody was looking at the camera: a hand that trembled, a laugh at the wrong moment, the silence just before the yes.
In the middle of the page is the ceremony, the part everyone reads. But around it, the day keeps writing itself: the friend who arrives running, the laugh that slips out at the worst moment, the aunt who cries too early. Everything moves. And in the middle of that whirl, two people who, for a second, forgot there was a world.
We read slowly, without underlining anything, and come back with a film of 10 to 25 minutes made with the true sound of the day: the laughter, the things whispered, and the silences. We tell it the way the heart remembers it: memory forgets what time each thing happened; the heart never forgets how it felt.

The one who looks after
It's the mother fixing the veil for the third time, the father pretending he isn't crying. It doesn't ask to be seen: it has always been there, like the kitchen light.
The one who walks beside
Friends don't look at each other: they look at something together. They're in the clumsy toast, the song only they understand, the photo nobody asked for.
The one that sets alight
Suddenly the room empties, though it's full. Two people look at each other and the clock forgets to tell the time. That can't be directed: only waited for.
The one that stays
It lives in the promise, a word spoken toward the future. It's the quietest of all, and the only one still there when the lights go out.
1.Before
Before filming a story you have to learn its language. We talk about you, not the wedding.
2.During
We don't direct or interrupt. We are like the afternoon light: everywhere at once, and nobody turns to look at us.
3.After
On the third day, a 60 to 90 second preview, like a letter written that same night. The full film arrives when it finds its rhythm.
Music keeps us company, but it never covers what was said. That is why our films are heard before they are seen: the voice that trembles, the laugh that interrupts, the silence no one wanted to fill.
Testimonial to come: two or three lines from a real couple.
Testimonial to come.
Ideally from a planner or photographer.

Behind the camera.[Draft for your story] My name is Carlos. I started out asking couples to repeat the kiss. One day I stopped asking and started watching, and found that the best part always happens a second before or a second after what I was hired to film.
If those we begin to love could know us as we were before we met them, they could see what they have made of us.

We go wherever there is a story waiting to be told. But we take only a few each season: a film made well asks for time, and time, like love, doesn't multiply. It is given.
